Website data
When you use this website, we may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages visited, referral source, and timestamps. We use this information to operate, secure, diagnose, and understand the website. Analytics and security providers may process this information for us under their own safeguards.
Candidate privacy notice
What we collect
When you apply, we collect your name, contact details, location, work-authorisation position, notice period, salary expectation, professional links, screening answers, application source, and CV. We also record consent, application status, security signals, and correspondence about the recruitment process.
Do not include nationality, date of birth, age, gender, marital status, religion, a photograph, health or disability information, salary history, or other sensitive information unless we specifically and lawfully request it later for a necessary purpose.
Why we use it
We use application data to receive and assess your application, communicate with you, arrange interviews, make and administer recruitment decisions, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims. We rely on your request to enter a recruitment process, our legitimate interests in operating fair and secure recruitment, consent where requested, and legal obligations where applicable.
Who can see it
Access is limited to the GiT hiring team, relevant hiring leads, and authorised people within the Ginco Group where necessary to assess you for the role or a closely related opening. Service providers supporting hosting, storage, security, and transactional email process data on our instructions. We do not sell candidate data.
Automated processing
Structured answers receive a score used only to order the internal reading queue. It does not reject, exclude, or decide an application. Every application is made available to the hiring team, prose answers are not scored, and a person makes every recruitment decision.
Retention
We normally retain the application and CV for 12 months after submission, then delete them. Operational backups and provider logs may take a limited additional period to cycle out. If law or a live dispute requires longer retention, we keep only what is necessary for that purpose.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, private storage, encryption in transit, audit records, abuse controls, and retention jobs designed to limit access and storage. Some service providers may process data outside the UAE. Where this occurs, we assess the transfer and use appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer, or information about how your data is used, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
To request deletion of a job application, reply to an application email or email careers@git-me.ai with your application reference. For other privacy requests, email privacy@git-me.ai. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the competent UAE data-protection authority.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our processing or legal obligations change. The version and update date above identify the notice in effect. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
